It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Can you believe it is already December? Soon we will be saying goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016! But before we do that, let’s enjoy this month and what is has in store. We know that December is a very busy season for The Salvation Army and our hope is that in the midst of all the busyness, you find joy and peace and really embrace this time of celebration of the birth of Christ. But what else is December known for, you may ask? It’s National/Universal Human Rights month! We are very fortunate to live in a country that although isn’t perfect, it protects its citizens and we get to have freedom of speech, religion, and so much more. Take time this month to reflect on your rights as a citizen of the United States of America!

  • 28th– Pledge of Allegiance Day

Per usual, each troop can earn up to two emblems a month. For the corps that continue on with troops throughout the month, feel free to get creative with a DYO emblem for this Christmas season!
