WHAT IS ANTHEM?
Anthem (formerly known as WYI) is a week-long event for young adults, ages 18-28, that fosters a space for participants to explore the story of Jesus and learn how it intertwines with their own stories and the stories of others.
Anthem is more than an event. Anthem is a safe place for young adults to experience community and discover what it means to live out the story of Jesus in their own lives.
A PLACE TO WORSHIP
Anthem seeks to create a space where delegates feel empowered to worship freely.
Our goal is that attendees feel welcome at Anthem and to come as they are to worship Jesus.
Our anthem is victory over sin. Our anthem is communion with God and His creation. Our anthem is praise to the creator God for His love, power, and glory.
YOUR STORY
Your personal story has been designed for a purpose. Each person has been created to create. Created to testify. Created to bring others to Christ.
Anthem seeks to guide young people on the journey to find the purpose of their story within the masterpiece of God’s creation.
Anthem is meant to refine spiritual truth, model genuine worship, and clarify a path towards Jesus. Our desire is to do more than ignite a fire for Christ, but to grow a desire to produce spiritual fruit, to go out and make disciples.
THEIR STORY
Each person has a unique story. Each story has been designed and woven by a Heavenly Father in a way which points to his craftsmanship.
At Anthem, we encourage our young people to testify of His work in their lives. Anthem encourages a safe space to be vulnerable and establish a true community of believers unified with God to tell a beautiful story of redemption, hope, and joy. Our goal is to establish a community that extends beyond our week at camp, but continues through prayer for one another, unity in worship and genuine love and compassion for one another.
GOD’S STORY
He has been present from the beginning, in every moment, and will continue for all time. It’s important for us to see how our stories fit into God’s story.
At Anthem, our focus is on creating space for Christ to move in the lives of every young adult who attends. His story, the gospel, is at the center of it all.
