The Territorial Worship Arts Retreat is a 3-day event (February 14-16, 2014) for artists, art lovers, worshipers, or any combination of the three. Delegates must be at least 18 years old. TWAR will be held at The Salvation Army’s Camp Redwood Glen in Scotts Valley, CA. The offered workshops will be dance, drama, film, praise & worship, visual art, multimedia, worship leading, and songwriting.

The keynote speaker will be Tom Kreuter, the Executive Director of Training Resources, a ministry devoted to strengthening Christians in their relationships with God and with one another. http://training-resources.org/

The performing guests will be Friends of the Groom (Drama) from Terrace Park, OH and Erin Burgmayer (Dance) from Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, Phil Laeger will be leading worship and conducting a songwriting workshop.

Delegates will be staying in cabins and are expected to bring their own linens and toiletries.

SCHEDULE

The first evening meeting on Friday will begin at 6:45 pm and the last meeting will end around noon on Sunday.  Dinner will be provided on Friday before the first meeting and lunch will be provided Sunday afternoon after the last meeting.

TRANSPORTATION

Those flying in should book flights into San Jose airport.

There will be a bus from the airport to camp leaving at 3:30 from San Jose airport so please book your flight and be sure to let Mejee.Lutcher@usw.salvationarmy.org know that you will need the bus.

The bus will also take folks to the airport on Sunday afternoon.  Please reserve your spot.

DRESS

Be comfortable and warm.  No uniform – even for officers.
