We’ve all been there. Staring at what we think may be an impossible feat to achieve, but deep down we kind of know that we can conquer it. Often the longer we stare at it the more intimidating it becomes. We then begin making excuses of why it we shouldn’t go for it. And more often than not, we choose to step away.

This video captures the feelings I get when I decide to witness to a friend. I know that God has set it all up. His spirit is moving inside me and urging me to let go and go for it, but I worry what they might say. I worry that I won’t land on my two feet. I worry that I will get rejected or crushed. But after wrestling for a little while, I decide to let go and just go for it.

That moment of allowing the Spirit to move through your life is indescribable. Then the moment of sharing the Good News happens and you feel weightless as you wait for their response…………. and then it happens “Yes! I want to know Jesus as my personal savior!”

YAHHHHHOOOOO!! YESSSSSSS!!!!! WAHHHHHOOOOOOO!!!!

Praise God they are saved.

I often then look back at that experience and wonder why I didn’t say anything before. Why didn’t I have the courage to just go for it? I know that the Spirit will work through me. We just need to go for it.

If God is urging you to speak to a friend, family member, or a complete stranger. Move on it. The Lord is your helper!

So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”

Hebrews 13:6New International Version (NIV)

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
